AMCHAM supported Summer Programme targets Sri Lankan students studying abroad

Citibank, Unilever Sri Lanka, and VirtusaPolaris, have combined forces with the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) to successfully launch the International Summer Programme (ISP) for the 3rd continuous time as a channel of attracting bright, young, Sri Lankan talent to their organizations. This summer program is targeted at Sri Lankan students who are studying in universities abroad, and will offer a structured, six-week program that allows them to gain hands-on experience at three premier corporates in Sri Lanka.

The programme will include induction sessions at all three companies, and a focused project for four weeks in one of the companies, culminating in a presentation to a joint panel from the three organizations. During the Programme, students will also get the opportunity to develop themselves through personality and professional skill building sessions, and will get to interact with industry leaders and diplomats from the United States. They will also be involved in a fund raising initiative for a charity supported by AmCham, building on the commitment of all three companies to be responsible corporate citizens.

Prospective applicants can find more information about the programme through the AmCham website, and the application process will also be hosted in the same manner. To access the application and further details, please visit the application page
